Announced by Nintendo’s Twitter, this 35-minute Nintendo Direct will be their fourth Direct-style video since Nintendo UK released its Indie Highlights video and discussed 16 games headed to the Switch on August 20.

A little over a week later, Nintendo held its  Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 which featured 22 games, including Into the Breach which was released on the same day as the showcase.

Just a day after that, Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct that focused on their upcoming mobile game, Dragalia Lost, and revealed the first gameplay details for the title that will be launching on September 27.

As for potential games that will be a part of this new Nintendo Direct, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will most certainly make an appearance and a new character or two or more information about the mystery game mode wouldn’t be out of the question.

Additionally, we may get a release date for such games as the recently announced Diablo III Eternal Collection and potentially more info on the Nintendo Switch Online Service and the 10 remaining titles of the 20 NES games that will launch with the service.
