Apex Legends players have been having fun with an exploit that lets them attach Legends' items to Gibraltar's shield.

Not usually the most popular Legend, thanks to his huge hitbox and lumbering movement, Gibraltar's glitch has made him the belle of the ball. Players have discovered that when Gibraltar pulls out his shield, it acts as a solid surface that allows other players to deploy their various abilities on top of it, like Caustic's gas traps or Octane's launch pad.

What's more, sticking a launch pad onto Gibraltar's shield allows him to bounce around the map like a majestic volleyball, as demonstrated by YouTuber urnotjusti, via GamesRadar+.

How you utilize your newfound power is up to you, but it'll probably be patched out soon, so put your wildest ideas into motion while you still have time.

Respawn recently rolled out what seems to be an upcoming penalty for players dropping out of games early. The feature was implemented by accident, and community manager Jay Freshette a.k.a. Jayfresh, explained the mix-up, adding that there's no ETA on when or if it'll "come out for real."

A second Legend is apparently going to make their way into the game this season, but until their debut, we've ranked every Season 1 legend for your convenience, so be sure to check that out.
