Welcome to the Switch, Toad!

If you were on the fence about Toad's latest Nintendo Switch adventure, you'll get a chance to try before you buy.

A day after Nintendo's Eshop launched a preview for the upcoming Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker in Japan and Europe, the company announced a demo for the U.S. market on Thursday. The puzzle game, which originally released in 2014 on the Wii U, is making its Switch debut next month. Now curious players can give it a whirl before it officially comes out.

The game launches on July 13, but you can now download a brief demo of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for free from the Eshop and see if its unique brand of puzzle box gameplay is for you.

If you haven't made the leap onto Nintendo's hybrid console just yet, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will also release for the 3DS on July 13 as well.
