Fortnite Fans Have Harsh Words for Season 10's Mechs

The B.R.U.T.E. mech is one of the most prominent additions to Fortnite Battle Royale Season 10, and it hasn't taken long for fans to express just how much they dislike it and other changes that have come to Fortnite's latest season.The B.R.U.T.E is a two-person bipedal vehicle where one player controls its movement while the other is in charge of its weapons - though a single player can operate it alone by switching between moving and attacking. Capable of firing powerful missiles and shotgun blasts, fans consider the addition to be highly overpowered, and even the most accomplished Fortnite pros are frequently falling to its barrages.

Even those who prefer building can't easily escape its reign of destruction, as it can tear through buildings and built objects with ease. They can, of course, be destroyed, but their considerable firepower, solid pool of health and Overshield mechanic make that a difficult task.As more and more players have lost to the mech's advantages, Fortnite's fanbase has grown steadily more vocal against the B.R.U.T.E. mech. Streamers across the internet have been sharing videos of losing to the mech in spectacular fashion, while some have taken to destroying mechs before other players can pilot them.

The common sentiment across the Fortnite BR Reddit and social media in general is that fans want the B.R.U.T.E. to be vaulted (or removed from the game) as soon as possible. Of course, Epic is liable to make adjustments to the B.R.U.T.E. to make it easier to take down and less of an abject force of terror. And even without changes, players are finding unique methods to take the mech down.

Not all players dislike the mech, however. Many find them to be interesting new additions to the game. Though, most just like its dancing animations.

Other complaints for Season 10 center on the weapons and items that actually were vaulted this season, including the Baller, Quad Crasher, Flint Knock Pistol, Shadow Bomb, Semi-Auto Sniper, Tactical Assault Rifle, Mounted Turret and more.
