Howdy ho, weekend internet users! Welcome back to another brand episode of Up At Noon, IGN's premiere comedy variety show and/or weekend nonsense programming block for designated horsin' around.

If you somehow missed the previous episodes amidst the constant deluge of granular Avengers: Endgame explainers, breathy Game of Thrones think-pieces, hard-hitting Detective Pikachu deep-dives, and frothy Sonic The Hedgehog manifestos... Well, Up At Noon is back. The three previous episodes can be found here, here and here.

This week, here's what's in store:

Game of Thrones Food & Drink Promotions Gone Wild - Game of Thrones is one of the most gruesome and messed-up shows on TV, but everyone loves it, including #Brands™! I run down some of the weirdo cross-promotional limited edition snacks, drinks, and other consumables that have popped up around HBO's mature dragon lore programme for adults. Let's Unbox a $500 Metroid Prime 2 Statue - First4Figures sent us yet another high-end statue to unbox and make weird observations about. In this case, it's the Varia Suit Samus, based on her Metroid Prime 2: Echoes appearance, which lights up and is very impressive. It gave Brian a chance to talk about the Figma and Amiibo Samus figures, which are also great. Can You Use ____ As a Weapon in Bloodroots? - We're joined by Raphaël Toulouse, one of the guys behind the absolutely kickass upcoming indie game Bloodroots. It's a bit like Hotline Miami but with Samurai Jack's art style, but inspired by Jackie Chan's fight scenes where he beats dudes up with household objects, but you play as a lumberjack. There's a lot going on here, that hits PC and consoles this summer.

Next week, we're probably going to shoot each other in the head with NERF darts and probably yell about X-Men, because really, this is a show about two adult men behaving like third-graders.

What sort of thing would you like to see on Up At Noon? We're still very much figuring it out, but hopefully you're enjoying it as much as we enjoy making it.

Max Scoville is a co-host and quasi-producer of Up At Noon, you can find him on Twitter @MaxScoville and while you're at it, you can tweet some photos of wet cat food to Brian, who's @agentbizzle. I suggested doing this last week, but I don't think anyone read it. So, if you're reading this, please send some photos of rich, succulent cat pâté to my best friend. I'm going to continue making this demand here until someone actually does it. This is Max Scoville, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off.
