Here's some good news for anyone who held off on buying a pair of last year's biggest games: Red Dead Redemption 2 is on sale for $39.99 on PS4 and Xbox One - its lowest price ever - and PS4's Spider-Man is back on sale for $39.99. Those are remarkable deals on some of the most beloved games of the generation.

If you've been waiting for a sale to pick up Red Dead Redemption 2, now is probably the time to pull the trigger. Grand Theft Auto V's sale prices didn't start dipping below $39.99 on a regular basis for two years after release, so if Red Dead Redemption 2 follows suit, it could be a long time before we see a better deal than this. As for Spider-Man, $39.99 is the lowest we've ever seen from Amazon. Also, if you have an Xbox One, you might want to revisit the original Red Dead Redemption. It's backwards compatible and on sale for just $11.11 at Walmart.

Set in 1899, Red Dead Redemption 2 follows Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they go on the run after a robbery gone bad. What follows is a series of missions you run to keep the gang's coffers from going empty. As you play, you'll get to know each member of the gang, and as the law presses down, you and the others keep having to uproot their camp and moving on across the enormous open world.

In IGN's Red Dead Redemption 2 review, Luke Reily awarded it the rare score of 10/10, writing, "Red Dead Redemption 2 stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Grand Theft Auto V as one of the greatest games of the modern age. It’s a gorgeous depiction of an ugly period that’s patient, polished, and a huge amount of fun to play, and it’s combined with Rockstar’s best storytelling to date. Even after finishing the lengthy story I can’t wait to go back and play more."

As for Spider-Man, it's a delightful open-world game about battling bad guys in NYC. From our Spider-Man review: "I wanted Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 to make me feel like Spider-Man: To sail between the highrises of New York City, to nimbly web up hordes of enemies, and tussle with familiar, animal-themed villains. Insomniac Games’ first foray into the world of Marvel handily delivers on all of that."

Just make sure you grab these game deals quickly. They might go away soon.
