Harry Potter: Wizards Unite – the upcoming game from Pokemon Go developers Niantic – has been pushed back to a 2019 release window and gotten a fresh logo.

Pottermore posted the image, pointing out that the three wands at its centre belong to Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger:

When the game was initially revealed, it was scheduled for release this year, but Pottermore's report ends by saying it will arrive in 2019.

Little is known about exactly Wizards Unite will involve, but Niantic's description points to a Pokemon Go-like experience, saying that players will be "exploring real-world neighborhoods and cities across the globe... go on adventures, learn and cast spells, discover mysterious artifacts, and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters."

Niantic has previously reassured fans that Wizards Unite won't affect ongoing development for Pokemon Go – and there's some comfort to be taken in the fact that Niantic's first game, Ingress, itself got a major rework this month.
