Square Enix has announced its plans for E3 2019 and has revealed that it will be hosting a "special broadcast" on Monday, June 10 at 6pm PT/9pm ET to showcase an "exciting line up of titles."

Square Enix took to Twitter to share the news of how they will be kicking off E3 2019 this year, but didn't give any indication of what exactly they would be showing.
An interesting note, however, is that they are taking the time slot that has been previously held by PlayStation, which follows the news that Sony would not be appearing at E3 this year.
As for what it may show, the two big unknowns right now for Square Enix are the Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Avengers project being made by Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics and Deus Ex developer Eidos Montreal.
Last year at E3, game director Tetsuya Nomura told IGN that the Final Fantasy VII Remake is finally out of the "early concept stages" and that the game is in full development.
We don't know much about the Avengers project that was announecd back in 2017 as part of Square Enix and Marvel's "multi-game partnership", but some job postings have indicated that the game may feature 3rd-person action and will incorporate "social", "shared" online play.
Square Enix has now joined Microsoft, Bethesda, and Ubisoft as those who have announced their press conferences for E3 2019. As of this writing, there is still no word on when Nintendo will (most likely) present a Nintendo Direct to announce its future plans.
