Pokémon Quest Coming to Mobile Next Week

Pokémon Quest is coming to mobile on June 28.

According to a tweet from the Japanese Pokémon Twitter account, RPG Pokémon Quest is coming to iOS and Android devices. The tweet reveals that Pokémon Quest has been downloaded on the Nintendo Switch 2.5 million times worldwide, and that pre-registration for mobile versions of the title start from today.

Thanks to the App Store listing, we know the game should become available on Thursday, June 28. It remains completely free to download but, unfortunately, there is no shared data with the Switch version.

Pokémon Quest was announced alongside Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee last month. It's a bit different than the Pokémon games we're used to.

Described as a “rambunctious expedition RPG” by developer Game Freak, Pokémon Quest lets you explore the island of Tumblecube, where everything is a cube - even the Pokémon. As you adventure with your Pokémon, you have the ability to personalise their stats, upgrade your base camp, and even cook food to entice new Pokémon to join your posse.

You can pre-register for Pokémon Quest on the App Store or Google Play Store.
